Christian left the Kora Reserve in 1973. He made his new territory along the Tana river, but when the Wakamba herdsmen kept bringing their livestock to his hunting ground, he moved on. George Adamson said in his autobiography, "I used to count the days on which we hadn't seen Christian, but when they reached 97, I gave up recording them in my diary." Because a lion can live from 12 to 15 years in the wild, Adamson believed that Christian ended his days in the Meru National Reserve only a few miles up river.

We all hope that our pets would remember us if we ever got sepersted from them for a long period of time. This is proof again that animals have a memory and a concience. They are much more like us than we realize.

THAT POOR LION.aLL HE wAnted to do is live. John and Ace gave him a wonderful background. If you look at the people in this world, there are so many that have never gotten the love he did.. It's not a question about him being rehabilitaded. He was loved.Alot of humans nver get that chance, so what John and Ace did was wonderful.

Finally someone who knew were to pick up the facts! Instead of wining and tell me I dont know shit etc.. Thank you "hamishhun" I will check it out! But who the hell blames me for doubt such a story! (exept a lof of people :P).... It seemed to good to be true! But I havent started googled it yet so ill wait before I start making "cute" comments about how wonderfull this story is before even knowing if its true or not!!
