Super Mario 64 "16 star" TAS by Swordless Link (14:27)


A tool-assisted speedrun of Super Mario 64 by me.16 star is an arbitrary category now, but I don't care. I made this because I knew people wanted to see an optimised 16 star run. It uses the lobby glitch to access BitDW and WF (skips CCM in favour of another 2 LLL stars), and ultimately, saved 41 seconds over the last 16 star run (15:08). It's also 2 minutes faster than the very first SM64 16 star TAS.

Oh man! This guy's a BEAST at this! I mean he's boundin' along those walls like those mountain goats (horned sheep?) I've seen in some of those Wilderness Classics films. I never would've even though of those tactics! :OBut ultimately I guess that's the result of someone who plays through it so many times, again and again and again, trying different things, making personal goals, and mastering what you do best! Rock on!
