i LOVE these guys! just goes to show you that music is UNIVERSAL! who cares about ethnicity or which ethnic group originally developed a certain genre of music...if you can feel it in your soul and you're passionate about learning to play it...you can make an authentic jam in that genre. screw ethnicity! music is music!

There are thousands of amazing japanese musicians, in somw way, his right, on the other hand, this music genre is obviously not from Japan.

So both of you are kinda right.

Uh.. what part of Japan do you live in? I've never seen anything like this in any of the clubs I hit, and um.. since when did bebop originate in Japan?

I'm not denying that I love these guys. They're fucking AWESOME, and have some incredible skills.

Anyway, don't bother responding. I'd hate to sully my reputation on a troll such as yourself.

ATTN: Anime faggots. THIS is Japan. This is what Japan is fucking about. Not your shitty animation, voices and shitty 8 year old girl cartoons.

Thanks for the answer.
I checked it out but I'm not so sure that's exactly the tune I mean but it was indeed quite similar.
The tune from which Soil and PIMP takes a fragment is actually instrumental and it was very popular in the 70's....even used as a presentation music in some radio-program.
Perhaps some friend of yours might probably identify that melody? The quest continues anyway.

You may be thinking of "Tighten Up" by Archie Bell&the Drells.
