@valnaples I don't know the right answer. Mine was darker? As long as it tasted good, don't worry much about the color. Check the forum on my website (general discussion) and leave your question there. Someone else may give you good advice there.

Maangchi, I am eating this right now! And I do love it! However, my stew is not as dark as yours...I suspect my broth was too light? I used 2 TBS. of chili flakes and it is VERY hot...but enjoyable! Any suggestions to make mine just like yours? Also, my tofu was "silken" but stayed in pieces, did not become creamy as yours did...thanks! Love this!

What a cute little lady! Question: what is the little mesh basket she uses? She uses in in another of her videos, too, for making broth with the dried anchovies. Where can you get that little mesh basket, anyone know? Thanks! Would love to try a few of her recipes and explore Korean cuisine a little bit!
