Sure, be lazy about it and say all Americans are stupid. This couldn't be the case of home announcers taking the side of the home team. Not at all.

The hit is questionable. It was a somewhat clean hip check, but taken in context, and given Ott's dirty history, it's not as cut-and-dry as you think.
