idk why u lookin so hard , of course he does something do make this work , there is no real "magic" ^^ , i guess the cards have lil marks at the side or something and he can feel it , but with all the shuffling and cutting its so amazing just the perfection he does it with is impressive , so just enjoy and dont pain ur brain :P 5*

Cutting decks really mean nothing, people skilled with cards know how to manipulate all that to the way they want it, I mean its not real magic, so logicaly you could have gathered that he is not just doing that shuffle and cutting stuff randomly.

i noticed a few suspicious things

at 2:10 i think he undoes the shuffle.
it looks like he merged the two halves, then pulled them apart

at 2:42 he does something suspicious with the cards that were just cut by the guy

at 2:54 and 3:08 he takes a peak at the deck he is holding
