works in the 90's too, and the 80's too, but they are harder... if its is below 100, don't add but subtract instead.

(99)(99)=9801
99 - 1 = 98
1 x 1 = 1
98&01 = 9801

also another way not so smart but prety helpful is for eapmle 104 sqared=(100+4)squared=100squared+4squared+2x100x4=10.000+16+2x400=10.000
+16+800=10.000+816=10.816.you can do that in mind prety east because 100 scuared is easy to find so is 4 squared and 2x100x4..that works for everything
