Megaman X5 rank route 4/8 - Zero to PA on Grizzly Slash

Part of a series of videos where X and Zero reach MMH/MEH rank on what I believe to be (one of) the shortest route(s) possible.Mattrex's weapon gives Zero the ability to perform the Quake Blazer. This'll drastically cut down stage clear time, but you'll still need to keep your energy up to get all those rank points. Take your time on the tanks if they give you too much trouble. Keep in mind that the slash dash cancel works great on Grizzly Slash, so you'll cut off even more time should you decide to use it.

Also, don't forget to grab the Hyper Dash part. When Alia gives you a choice to pick between life and energy, choose energy.

I managed to avoid contact damage from the tanks and the lasers were kind enough to barely miss me. But being my pathetic self, I get hit by a stray missile from the last tank of the stage. Oh, and my slash dash cancelling sucks.

Its a damn shame that stupid dashing move you get from skiver makes you not able to use that trick... I guess its best to do him last then? or to skip him completely?

The boss must be level 8+. When Alia gives you the option to select between Weapons and Life up or Weapons and Energy up, select energy.

Is this a fool proof way of getting Hyper Dash? The parts aren't randomly given to you? :o Also, awesome skill. I thought I was good, but you blow me out of the water...

Slash dash cancel; do a single sword slash, then immediately dash to cancel the animation. Repeat this over and over for a flurry of slashes. I'm sure there are tutorial vids on youtube somewhere...

theirs one in grizzly slash's level on a exploding and the other is in dark dizzys on a platform you either have to double jump with zero or have x equiped with the jumper part.
