Could you tell me every difference between the Orion IV, and the Orion V, other than the engine, and the Rollsigns?
Kote12TK (November 12, 2009 at 5:19 am)
547 had a different announcer voice when it was saying, "Route 20 Fort Hill Road." And, from time to time, the stop requested sounds differ on the Neoplans. Sometimes just one beep, other times a beep and a bell, and even sometimes, a lower pitch beep, then the regular beep, but not the one on the Orion V, and the Hybrids.

Lately, on my way home from school, a certain group of Neoplans has shown me weird occurences. 501 has an upgraded Stop Requested sign, like the ones on the NABI hybrids. 536 scheduled as a Fort Hill Road bound 20 had some issues:
A. The interiors lights near the entrance to the bus wouldn't turn off.
B. The Stop Request tape wouldn't work.
C. The hazard lights wouldn't turn off.
D. The rollsigns were completely turned off.
Because of all this, it became a White Plains 20, despite the schedule.

You know what, it's pretty dumb that Neoplans do not run on the 4, all because of what? A naive turnaround, that I know that the 7, and 20 uses so there should be no reason for no Neoplans on the 4.

Orion V's do not have a voice, except for the ones on the 5, and the 25.
