Looks like my original answer went missing.I think what you are seeing is spare rails for repairs, they probably switch them at night.

double tracks going in each direction? at 5:14 there looks like a wooden then steel then wooden then steel piece of track going in one direction and the other direction. is it because its on the bridge?
