@falla08 Yes, i know, you´re right. There seem to be some "connections" to FN Herstal.
If I was the guy to choose the new Special Forces Rifle, I would take the Magpul Masada (now named Busgmaster ACR). That´s the best way to support the own economy and I think the rifle is comparable to the SCAR, the HK416 and so on.

yeah scar won the tests but i don't think more of the fn than of the gun ...
if you want to know it exacly there was i think 3 great tests - the 2 first where no fn gun was, was stopped (in both one hk was in) and the thing is for example in the jam test the hk xm8 is much better then the scar but in this time there was no scar ...

russians made the ak 47 based off of the strurmgewehr 44 (stg44), which was developed by germans during WW2
