i believe its short for "intravenous" (IV). the one where u often see on ppl admitted into hospitals, with the IV bag of fluid hung over their heads dripping liquid into the IV tube injected to their vein, usually on the wrist where the vein is easily found. jus my opinion, considering that they are singing veins and stuff.
