Soft, husky and soothing voice of Dennis Yost makes this song exemplary beautiful.

Wasn't that true..singing coast to coast, when Stormy came out, it reached the west end of Pacific coast too, anyone who's into R&R all sang this Stormy tune and were all captured by the different tune "Spooky". Brought back great memories, I even remembered what I was doing then.

57 Highland.Traces came out Feb 22 1969 fir the fecord. Im the doo wop/rocknroll historian here no offence. you did casually say something negative but itsbeen removed .regardless.we are in agreemrnt. SPOOKY,STORMY,EVERY DAY WITH YOU GIRL are immortal. lets leave it at tgat. no need to debate.I win handsDOWN. time for closure. TOMKES I know my music&57Highland I go way back before you brother.

I'm glad that you have some good songs from the golden age of Top 40 music to help you remember your Mom. I remember that song that the Lettermen too. (Look at "The Goodees - Condition Red - 1968" to hear a really obscure but really good song from late 1968. Maybe your Mom knew it.

tomkes100: I can't find my comment that you responded to here. Did I say something negative? Sorry, if I did. I loved these guys. I was 11 when "Traces" and Every Day With You Girl" were first in the Top 40. And I gave you the exact dates? I think "Spooky" came out in early 1968 and "Stormy" came out near the end of 1968 (just a month or two before "Traces").
