11-4-09 Lick Of The Week Track #11 "Bal's Groove" Thang from Violet Horizon

This tune is a fun song to play and it has a really cool groove to it. The title comes from my nick name as a kid Bal, which is short for Balducci etc....On this new CD I really thought about my life going all the way back to my early years and listening to my three sisters lp's. I was very excited about music and it was a whole new world opening up to me. I think I captured some really cool grooves. The whole CD to me has a great vibe to it. Ihope you enjoy it. hey ya, it depends. it can go either way, usually the songs that I have a melody for works out easier because the chords are implied already. This one I had the riff first!
