I was a huge fan of Diana Rigg, as the Avengers' Mrs. Emma Peel. I do adore Watson as well, though I never thought to compare them. Each brings a fierce intelligence to her characters. I highly recomment DVDs of "The Avengers" (1965 - 1967 = Patrick MacNee and Diana RIgg - Forget the others.) are available and well worth viewing. They stand up remarkably well after 40-some years. And as tongue-in-cheek partners in spying, they've never been equalled.

The way Emma speaks and her body language, she reminds me a lot of Diana Rigg. Many of you probably don't remember her with Patric McNee in he Avenger's. Diana Rigg also starred in James Bond movie, Her Magestie's secret service with George Lesenby.
