i think that with the sounders as popular as we are i think that America will have a huge upswing in soccer relevance and popularity seriuosly i think the sounders could explode football all over north america and become the Manchester united if you will of north America

give us some time, but i believe we have turned the corner and can be consistently competitive... we finally got a lucky draw and have no excuse not to make it of our group next year in SA...

sure freddy is great. i loved him at arsenal and i love him even more for going to my homeland and trying to raise the profile of the sport...

Yeah that's true, which I'm not doubting; and as I mentioned in my first comment, I'd find football a lot more interesting if there was another interesting league amongst the others - with it being outside of Europe as well, which makes it that tiny bit more unique.
The Brazilian or Argentinean leagues aren't exactly the focus from outside of the Americas anyway.

maybe waht you say is true but i think we are the biggest rising force in the wolrd game. by midcentury i think we will be a consistent quarterfinal qualifier. it will take us ages to catch up with england as an underachiever...
