You are out of your minds. Not only was it proven that Football hits are harder, but doesn't it seem obvious that football hits would be anyways because they are wearing those pads. Those "short bursts" you talk about in between commercials are alot more than just bursts. You obviously have no idea about the trenches and how grimey it gets in there, ie taking on a pulling guard as a defensive lineman when the guard as a running start and you have to endure the hit while containing the outside

ummm....WOW THATS IS TWO DIFFERENT SPORTS ASS HOLE

I disagree, if you said that you have no knowledge of football. The NFL is under investigation for concussions and its frequency in the game. The most out of every sport!

In your dreams, I compare American football to the Paralympics. Sure we know these guys couldn't cut it against real athletes...but at least their trying.Gridiron is just short bursts in between commercials, you don't have to be fit for that. Rugby beats American football in just about every department.

Graham, you are a F**** tool. You are so biased, your opinion actually means shit. As someone who has played, and loves both, i can honestly say, yes, football hits are harder, ie force of impact, but rugby hits do way more physical damage. As for better athletes, once again, you are way off base. stamina and agilty, goes to soccer. As for rugby vs football, fitness and conditioning, goes to rugby. Every player has to sprint, jog, stop, fall, get up, tackle. TRUST ME, I KNOW
