Oops, sorry: Zoloft too. I am not a Dr., just my opinion on this post and previous. Seems that methadone would not be a drug of choice for someone who presumably had no pain history. It's certainly a drug to be careful with. If he wasn't prescribed methadone, how did he get it? Reports show he went from the airport to the hospital, so either he had it with him, or got it on the ride there, or while in the hospital. So I wonder if not his, how did he come to have methadone to take?

Daniel's death was a result of a drug intoxication of methadone and Lexapro. Most likely, the methadone was 'probably' enough to really agitate the overdose, methadone is not for those who are not opiate tolerant. For opiate tolerate persons, these two drugs would probably never be enough to intoxicate presuming the dosage was normal. But in Daniel, one could presume he had no opiate tolerance so that drug alone was way to powerful for him. Sad, very sad. I can only imagine how he got it!

According to Larry Birkhead's testimony at the Bahamian Inquest, Anna aka Vickie Hogan-Smith gave Ecstasy and methadone to her son Daniel Smith who overdosed and died.Anna Nicole Smith knew very well she was responsible for her son's death, that's why she used so many sedatives.She couldn't live with the notion she was responsible for what happened to him.Anna and her son were the victims of her reckless lifestyle.

Hey can someone tell me if they determined that Dan died of the combination of 3 drugs or was it a huge dose of methadone? If it was methodone, its narowed to suicide or homocide. I think its Sternacide myself.
