LOL- and before you falsely accuse me of "cutting and running". (like reagan out of Lebanon) I have to go right now but I might be back later

"low blows"!? WTF are you talking about? what did say that was "low"?! you yourself commented on how we had been responding to each other all day. I'm sorry I couldn't stay on line forever, but I do *gasp* have a life. If I was doing something "behind your back" I would not have responded to your comment directly. you see, that's how it works on y-tube when I respond to your comment (as I did) YOU get an e-mail message. thus your charge is LUDICROUS.

Liberals wait until the main debate is over and then use low blows to try and look like they win. No, that's not good debating and that's not good politicing. I was able to actually have a civilized disagreement with someone yesterday who disagreed with me but he didn't cut and run and then come back when he felt I wasn't looking in order to get the last word. If only Obama had the will to attack, then we wouldn't be having this discussion on Afghanistan.

Maybe you should hear why they are saying to pull out of Afghanistan. I think you should listen to Fred Thompson's speech a couple of days ago. Obama doesn't have the will to win in Afghanistan. I'm not getting into it with you again, It's the weekend and I've got more important things to do. I've stated my point and I know I'm not going to change your mind just like you won't change mine. You had your chance a few days ago and you decided to wait until I wasn't looking, a liberal tactic.

interesting that you claim that the modern conservative's ideals come from goldwater. and then protest about me allegedly bringing up "libertarians". I think that it's quite clear that in today's political climate, goldwater would be a seen as "libertarian" as he supported a woman's right to choose, and was very much an opponent of the religious right's agenda. "liberals" like myself only WISH that the GOP was more like goldwater and less like reagan.

LOL- no you can't, because ralph nader was NEVER a democrat. all the people I mentioned were-are REPUBLICANS and worked to get republicans elected. actually- kind of like nader who's participation in presidential elections usually only helped the GOP. it's amazing how right wingers can turn on their own and deem them RINOS the moment they say something you guys don't like.
you guys can't seem to stand those that can think for themselves.
Mizzou4life1985 (November 19, 2009 at 9:10 pm)
Ok, can I refer to Ralph Nadar now that you're refering to Libertarians? Most Conservatives believe that we should send 40,000 more troops to Afghanistan. The Commander on the Ground has said that. The reason we lost Vietnam was because the politicans didn't let the Commanders on the Ground do their job. The "Liberals' were the ones who said the troop surge in Iraq wouldn't work, and they were wrong then, and they're wrong now.

you must have missed george will's article: Time to Get Out of Afghanistan, and the response: Mickey Edwards (R-Okla.) "George Will asks the right questions and gives the right answers. ... Will is right: it's time to bring our young men and women home." david frum: "Anybody who does not share George Will's frustrations with the Afghan mission has not been paying attention," Craig Shirley: "Will is right. If in eight years we haven't secured Afghanistan, then we never will.."
Mizzou4life1985 (November 19, 2009 at 8:44 pm)
Do you realize we have taken up the last 5 pages on this debate?
Mizzou4life1985 (November 19, 2009 at 8:35 pm)
One guy? I can tell you that Ike Skeleton(D)Missouri is in support of the War in Afghanistan. "You Belive" that there are many more who feel the same way? Really, then who? Because remember, 1 GOP member voted for the healthcare bill and 39 Dems voted against it. That's PROOF that this country is a Center-Right country.
