There are so many versions of this song..but growing up in the Catholic Church i heard this alot and it means so much to me..one of the most beautiful songs ever

Oooh I got confused too. This is the version I'm most familiar with since this was used in the Korean drama Stairway to Heaven. But they remixed the song up with some drumming and probably some sound effects.

this is by Giulio Caccini. There have been loads of versions of Ave Maria written. Hundreds.

Good choices! Schubert and Caccini have done the finest Ave's imo.

I also love Rachmaninov's, it's truly amazing too, and unique :)

Andrea you have such a controlled,clear and unique voice.......(quite the angel for a man),it's outstanding.I studied opera many moons ago and your rendition of Caccini's Ave Maria is the most sacred (also My favorite) and the most beautiful I have ever heard.
