Resident Evil 4 Blacktail Only: Chapter 4-3 Mine Cart (3/5)


I've been through Resident Evil 4 with 5 fully-upgraded guns (Handgun, Punisher, Blacktail, Red 9 and Matilda) and this is 3rd competition I'm doing it for fun.It's Chapter 4-3 Mine Cart Ride (NORMAL mode, Wii Edition). This is another great place to compare each gun as you can play exactly the same way.

The rule is the same: you can only use the chosen gun, and Kick is only allowed if it's absolutely necessary. As I had to go through various stages before I get on the cart, the starting number of bullets varies, but I counted exactly how many bullets I used during the cart ride. I made sure I'm 100% Hit Ratio up to this point in Chapter 4-3, so the end result reflects how each gun did in this competition.

Blacktail is a fantastic weapon in this competition. It has speed, power and great handling. Even though I played badly on this video (meaning I used a KICK! - I didn't retry to be fair with other weapons), I felt comfortable and safe having Blacktail by my side.
(Result: Hit Ratio 86%, Bullets used 106)

Fully upgrade it, then pay a butt-load of cash to amp up specific attributes, like giving the Striker 100 round magazine capacity. Start shooting saturday night, reload friday. In real life, might take a week to reload, too, though.

It's a competition so I deliberately don't shoot the switch until the cart moves again (although some guns may have accidentally hit it).

At 1:23, just try to shoot the switch.... Otherwise you'll just end up wasting bullets.

I know, Blacktail is known as penalty prone (by me!) - In the final elimination vids Leon kept having all sorts of penalties with Blacktail lol

Saying that, in normal play I'd have appreciated with the quick reaction Leon gets with Blacktail ^^
