Memoirs of a Zombie Way

Today I have finished a long, long, long project (and when I say long, I mean the time it took for me to make it). Sure, I took (2-3) month long breaks every now and then but when I was spending my time animating, I was always on a roll. Its just that sometimes I would lose patience and stop for a while...A year ago, I started this project. All last summer (more like the end actually) I worked on this, stopping in the fall for a bit, starting back up again, stopping in the winter, starting back up in spring, then a break, then finished it this month!

More then a year ago I came up with an idea. Iwas walking to school, listening to my ipod when Send Me On My Way came on. I smiled, because a.) the song is so darn happy and b.) I remember the old days when I first started animating. For those of you who have been very early fans, youll know that Zombie Way was my first contribution to the Resident Evil musicals that Shadowleggy started. Dont get me wrong now, this video is not a remake. Its more of a collaboration of all my animations (including profile pictures...) touched up a bit. It was fun, annoying, aggravating, and then rewarding in the end.

Want to see where it all began?
http://... you are curious, there are strange random bits in the beginning including some other animators. Originally I had intended to include various comments of the original videos in the scenes that they are brought back in... if that makes any sense. That includes Heeminhyman's "ICE AGE!" and Leons odd, random jump in front of Wesker and some other monsters (because he was the first to comment of Chris's Story I believe). There were also some comments written on the walls of Raccoon City in the "Hungry Like Leon" world. Most of these are actual comments posted on that video. You may also noticesome "mistakes" but most of them (except for one) are on purpose. For example, when Mike eventually loses his left eye but when he's entered the "Bit Part Brad" world, it's switched to his right eye. This is because I accidentally made that mistake in Bit Part Brad and I thought I would throw it inthere.

All in all, this video took a while; one year to be exact. I do wish I was able to finish it on August 19th, 2008 because that was my one year anniversary. Nevertheless, its done now and I didnt want to wait to post on my two year anniversary. So I do hope you enjoy it, even if you dont understand the various inside jokes. Oh yeah, and I have nothing against Michael Glabicki. It just happens that he sings the song so I threw him in there to have a very cool adventure!

Wanna see the real Michael Glabicki?

This is also the picture of him that I used to model my own Zombie Mike off of.

Wow! What's funny is that this video has gotten more comments (in four days) then the original which has been around for two years! Thanks everyone!
