Mr. Anime Reviews: The Melancholy of Haruhi Suzumiya

Season finale review of this long awaited show.Written Review

When I first heard about the Melancholy of Haruhi Suzumiya I was fairly interested. The name alone was enough to draw me in. However I soon started hearing and reading that the show had started to reach epic status on many peoples scales. There were tons of reviews on Haruhi Suzumiya already online so I held out and held out. Eventually though the number of people requesting Suzumuya reached 25 then 50. After that I couldn't hold out any longer. In the video I explained that I highly credited some of the snap zooms and transitions that appeared throughout the anime. I shouldhave emphasized on that however, because the particular transition I liked was only done twice in the whole show. The intro and ending themes in Melancholy of Haruhi Suzumiya were especially good backed with an amazingly drawn intro and a hilarious dance routine ending. This show is just about everything you could ask for in a club featured anime. I enjoyed Genshiken more on a realistic level, but The Melancholy of Haruhi Suzumiya was no less of a thrill ride.
