The Restless Universe, by Max Born

The Restless Universe [1936, 2nd ed. 1951] is a general interest physics book by the Nobel Laureate Max Born. It includes flipbook-style animations of various physical phenomena in the margins. In his foreword, Born actually calls them films. They run from the middle of the book outwards, so I inadvertently filmed the first half running backwards.

Starting at the front of the book, left page:
I. Gas Molecules
IV. Group Velocity
II. Molecular Velocities

right page, top:
III. Hertzian Oscillator
V. Scattering of alpha-Particles
VI. Motion of the Electron in the Hydrogen Atom
VII. Rotation of the Orbital Plane
